Veteran House Match

[smartslider3 slider=17]
Problem:

This Customer was a newly retired Army Veteran returning to central North Carolina after originally being stationed here some years before.  He and his wife wanted a shed as beautiful as their new home.  They wanted a horizontal siding and paint and shingle colors that matched their home.

Solution:

The 8’x12’ Lap Siding A-Frame was a perfect size for their backyard.  With added 4’x8’ Loft, 20” deep work bench, and standard 8’ Side walls, the shed also had ample space for their garden tool and storage needs.  The LP lap siding matched the aesthetic look of their new home and the shingle color and paint were also matched to their home.  The pleasing look of the shed was completed with the addition of a 36” fiberglass door and 2 vinyl windows.  Finally, the ramp allows for their push mower to be easily stored inside.

Design Process:

The customer discovered the Shed Depot of NC through their contractor, who was also adding an exterior patio and fence.  The contractor contacted us and we discussed various design options available in order to accomplish our desired goal of building a shed that would add to the appeal of the home and fit the homes design elements.  We coordinated paint and shingle colors as well as delivery timing around final installation of the new fence.

Options shown:
  • Standard Series with LP Lap Siding
  • 36” Fiberglass Door
  • Vinyl Windows
